EFFICIENT ENERGY RECOVERY
eCO2Heat systems recover heat in the form of hot water from the high-pressure end of CO2
refrigerant
cycle while the low-pressure energy recovery generates chilled water. The refrigerant characteristic allows
for running at various temperature thresholds for closed circuit or once-through operation modes with
flexible delta T. Installations are designed to complement the existing capital equipment to ensure fast
changeover and redundancy.

The design and development of the eCO2Heat series is
supported by research groups from Indian Institute of
Technology, Madras (IITM) and Norwegian University of
Science and Technology (NTNU), all part of the INDEE+
consortium.
PRODUCT AND SYSTEM FEATURES
The eCO2Heat machine is fully factory assembled and tested
- High-pressure compressors with optional Variable speed drive (VSD) for stepless capacity control
- Modulating ejector technology for optimized COP in varying ambient/duty conditions
- Oil separator, oil management system, and related controls
- Optimally sized receiver to handle CO2 charge and withstand standstill pressures
- Internal heat exchangers to optimize the heat-pump performance
- PLC integration to cloud and remote diagnostics
The system for your application is delivered as a turnkey project which integrates the machine with loads:
- HVAC/R packages consisting of AHU, Air-path ducting and chilled-water control
- Hot water circuit with stratified storage tank for high temperature heat storage reservoirs
- Waste-heat and free cooling recovery modules for intermediate temperature/comfort operations
